I been following stories about how the 2018 presidential election will likely be between Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush. That will make the second Clinton in the White House or the third Bush.

I thought that this country moved away from being ruled by monarchs in the eighteenth century? In Europe and the Middle East, it was (and is) common for families to control nations for hundreds of years. The American revolution did away with that, or so I thought.

So in a few years, we’re likely to see a new monarchy. I know that politics is a business first and that family businesses prevail. Why? Because the public sheepishly accept anything that’s dished out by Washington… but this is a little much, a perfect example of Hobson’s Choice.

Hobson rented horses in a large stable, but insisted that renters take the ones he selected so that the good horses were not ridden. The same goes for our politicians. Both parties roll out inferior candidates and then gives the public the choice of dumb or dumber. They call that fair and democratic. It isn’t.

How is it that with a population of over three hundred million people, we’re stuck with these two, soon to be candidates, that will be jammed down our throats? Haven’t both families done enough damage to our nation already? So while you think that we live in a democratic republic where any natural born citizen can be president, you’re kidding yourself.

It takes an enormous amounts of money, a complicit press and very limited Democratic or Republican Party choices that are handed to us. And the public eats it up.

We need a third party, USIP, the United States Independent Party with the motto, “Our Nation First.” Do you think so?
